Plumboss Manufacturer's Warranty

At Plumboss, we stand behind the quality of our products. Our tools are designed for professional use and manufactured to high standards. That's why most genuine Plumboss products over the applicable value threshold are backed by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of original purchase.

This manufacturer's warranty applies in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

During the 12-month warranty period, Plumboss will, at its discretion, repair, replace or refund a product that is found to have failed due to a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use.

To make a warranty claim, proof of purchase is required.

What Isn't Covered?

This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:

• Normal wear and tear.
• Improper use, misuse, abuse or neglect.
• Accidental damage.
• Incorrect installation or maintenance.
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications.
• Use of the product for purposes other than those intended.
• Damage caused by environmental conditions, corrosion, fire or other external factors.

Consumable items and parts that naturally wear during normal use are not covered unless they are found to be defective.

Making a Warranty Claim

To submit a warranty claim, please provide:

• Proof of purchase.
• Product details, including the model or product code.
• A description of the fault.
• Photographs of the product and the issue, where possible.

Our team may request additional information to help assess your claim.

If your claim is approved, Plumboss will repair or replace the product, or provide another appropriate remedy.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act

For products supplied in New Zealand, this manufacturer's warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Nothing in this warranty limits or excludes any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
