External tightening test plug system
The Plumboss Plug Safe system is an Australian-made solution designed to prevent losing test plugs down inspection openings while allowing tightening from outside the pipe. The zinc‑plated steel adaptor features a 200mm handle so the plug can be installed and tightened externally, keeping hands clear of the pipe and reducing the risk of cuts, abrasions and lost plugs.
Using a screw and wedge mechanism, the Plug Safe system grips significantly tighter than standard hand tightening. Ideal for pipe stopping, pressure testing and maintenance work where inspection openings limit access inside the pipe.
